Because they all work in unison and can create very realistic fights. This output slider was asked by many people on the board but it was not included by the devs.

It is a shame, because If one of those 3 game aspects is not accurate, you really can’t edit sliders without running into massive problems gameplay wise.

I wonder if they can add ai strike output slider via patch.

Look at the last fight from the first video from the first page....the jones ( cpu) vs gustaffson ( user) fight. Jones fought recklessly and seemed like he didnt adjust at all to the stamina cost slider. The user was very cautious and by the MIDDLE of the first round, jones spent around 33 percent of all his stamina while the user maybe used only 5 percent.

And what happened? Jones was KOed because gustaffson caught him in a low stamina moment. THIS is why ai output slider is needed.

Now imagine if Jones were cautious after we decrease his ai strike output slider. He would be much less prone to counters which will result in more decisions. He would block more, less damage, more decisions. And that would make the user even less hesitant to over strike because he also doesnt want to get countered, less strikes total and more decisions and the striking gameplay will be great. Just in 3:30 minutes alone in that fight, jones got neearly KOed 3 times! Why? Because he was not mindful of the stamina sliders nor the damage sliders and the ai still fought as if their stamina and damage were on default sliders.

In real life, It would be a miracle in itself to get Jones seriously hurt ONCE in a fight....these sliders without ai output had him hurt 3 times in 3 minutes. Just not realistic whatsoever, and this is not because of the OPs sliders, its because the ai fights the same way regardless of any sliders we make....at least that’s what I saw in that video.

I definitely agree to AI strike output being added. It would make for some even more interesting fights. On Legendary, even on Pro with these sliders you really have to watch out on what you throw. Some fights will be very technical, and the AI will throw less and try to counter, other fights you'll catch them clean early on or they will and that'll be that you know? It's pretty much the AI like you said, sliders can only do so much so I definitely hope the devs can incorporate this within a future patch.

Also I wanna add on, if anyone here has the full game and is interested in a simulation playstyle, please keep bumping this thread up so more members can see how these sliders work since I'll be getting the game next week and won't be able to test meanwhile (my EA access trial expired.) Please try to keep me updated if anyone wants to tweak the sliders please post your results! One more thing I will be posting a McGregor vs Alvarez clip soon that I got requested below, feel free to check it out. Thank you.

@ab541 Here's the clip you asked for buddy.
Same sliders as OP except both submission speeds are 2 up from default now instead of 3. Also I ran 4 fights total, the other ones are on my channel. Enjoy.

Hi Stealthhh,

Thank you so much for making those four videos. I saw them the day after you posted them to YT but just had a really busy day at work yesterday so i could not respond.

Let me start of by saying that Conor's straight left/cross is lethal with those sliders, with my favorite example being from the awesome finish in the video "Fight #3".

What i love about these sliders is that more or less every clean shot has serious repercussions for the opponent/yourself and you really are forced to play a tactical and thoughtful game of chess with the opponent. This is essentially the fabric of MMA and combat sports, that if you don't respect your opponent then one well placed shot could instantly change the complexion of the fight. I'm not saying the normal sliders don't mimic the danger of an MMA fight because they do to some degree. However there is obviously more forgiveness for mistakes which caters for a more broad/casual type of player with regards to the default sliders.

If the developers add your sliders into a separate simulation mode like i mentioned then i would seriously play the hell out of this mode. Anyways i truly appreciate that you made these videos and had the kindness to upload these on your YT channel. Bit unfortunate this great thread is getting buried by some other threads that are lacking structure or are essentially duplicates. But regardless i have my fingers crossed we do indeed get a sim mode added with your slider tweaks at some point.

Bought the full game earlier today and I'm enjoying it. Good job developers!

I'm using the sliders you put in, I'm thinking grappling might be better at normal speed, so that strikers can't just kick grapplers off all the time.

Also the AI is kinda bonkers. I don't think the sliders would work with the AI. I'll be using it for PvP. one AI had like 60 top, 90 ground with "off the back sub" perk, full guard perk, level 4 bjj ground, level 3 sub moves and decided to flip the fighter in his full guard over to get to top mount, where he has jack.

Also I like the simple submission setting. yeah call me crazy. I'd wish for it to be like rockstar's the warriors when you try to get out of being cuffed by the cops by using the joystick and avoiding vibration, but this is infinetly more intuative for newbies.

Oh, I totally forgot to say I'm loving your slider settings, and also to EA for the fact that we have sliders to play with in at all.

No problem man! We can only hope for a SIM mode that play more like these sliders! Yeah I know that's why I'm trying to keep this thread in the top so it doesn't get lost you know? I thank you for your kind words.

Yeah the game is really good hats off to the developers! Had a blast playing the trial. Yeah I feel like the AI might need some work. The reason for the maxed out transitions is so the ground game looks more fluid it just looks better, but it's harder to deny. Haha I have to try the simple submissions.
