I think they wanted to get rid of the exagerated ragdolls of UFC 2. Some odd ones still happen, but they're pretty rare and usually off kicks only.

Instead of having many crazy KOs we end up having a bunch of bland ones. But many still look good. It's quite a tight rope. I for one would be happy to see a bit more freedom, at the risk of seeing more crazy stuff. But it's easy for me to say. My *** is not the one on the line.

What do you mean, who's butt is on the line? 99% of people on here agree, they are ok with the rare wonky ragdoll, if it means unique KO's every time, like UFC 2 (just need to add a bit more weight). And I'd would venture a guess that the less hardcore players (i.e. not on OS) would like it even more.

All I want to know is if this is something the dev team will consider improving with subsequent updates. Having amazing KO's combined with the beautiful striking system we have would be incredible.

The UFC wants the game to represent the sport in a positive light.

Just like FIFA won't let you fake fall and spit on the other team just cuz 99% of the fanbase would be all for it.

My point was that having unique, completely ragdoll driven KO's is better than the mostly bland ones we have now. UFC 2's KO's looked amazing, most of the time, and that's what we should strive for with UFC 3.
