Re: Live Tuner Set Update - May 16, 2018

Is Jan B going to get a stat buff for the Manuwa fight??

I mean, either he gets buffed or Manuwa gets nerfed because it sure as hell didn't look like Manuwa had a +9pt advantage in almost every striking catagory IRL, in fact, Jan didn't look much slower, or weaker st all.

I'm not saying he should have higher stats than Manuwa but I do think he deserves a buff for that fight.

If I were to suggest something myself, I'd say maybe:

Strike Speed: 84>88 (Manuwa 93)
Power: 86>88 (Manuwa 95)
Headmovement: 84>87 (Manuwa 95)
Footwork:84>86 (Manuwa 93)

This is keeping in line with the "smaller rather than larger" logic to the stat tweaks, but speed could easily be 89, switch 87, ect.

Basically the guy feels like a super generic "average-at-everything" type of guy with the 84-86 stat average when he should feel like an above average kickboxer and average everywhere else.

He didn't by any means outstrike Gus, but he gave him enough trouble for Gus to go "f*** it, wrestlef**k"

I really think he needs a striking buff.

He totally outstruck Gus in the portions of that fight that were on the feet, it's just that it was only on the feet for like 4 minutes

Love the boost on Kevin Lee, but I feel as if his accuracy should have been boosted to an 89 rather than an 86, along with a decent switch stance boost, being that he outboxed Barboza in both stances for the time he was on the feet before mauling him on the ground.

Same, They seem to just skip over the lower rated guys when they get good wins

Unless they have hype, then they get boosted a ton.

Yep, Paulo costa beats up old Big Rig. Having a longggggg drawn out beat down and gets some insane power stats. Kelvin knocks down Kennedy, Belfort, Bisping, Weidman, AND Jacare but he only deserves 89 power. That's FIVE well known fighters getting DROPPED by a natural welterweight but he isn't jacked so he doesn't have power obviously lollllll

Paulo Costa is wayyy too good for being unproven in the UFC.
