I agree with Boiler. The fact that aggressive fighting is so powerful now, you need to balance it out with a proper stamina system. Even if guys are throwing 2 strike combos, stopping for 2 seconds then unloading again....that should still drain their stamina into the ground.

I understand that you want the opponent to be able to make his stamina drain but without a penalty for too many strikes thrown, we are ignoring one of the most fundamental aspects of MMA...fatigue. Guys will never learn how to fight smart if they are allowed to throw 100+ strikes a fight without any real life fundamental penalty.

The real tragedy is that when you finally do have a paced, technical fight, with feints, and set ups, and real strategy the game is sooooo amazingly fun and awesome.

The problem is I have to slog through 2 hours of fight after fight after fight of mindless spammers before I get that 1 good fight.

Then I find myself trudging through misery trying to chase the high of that 1 awesome fight, only to fight nothing but spammers another 10 fights in a row.

This game has potential to be so ****ing sweet but the complete lack of any stamina management devolves it into a spammers paradise.

There should be multiple ways to handle aggressive fighters. Two which are missing in the game are...

1) Footwork. We should simply be able to angle out, jog back and etc to avoid the phonebooth striking exchanges a lot easier.

2) Take downs should be a lot easier if someone is moving forward and wings combos. It should be this dangerous to shoot a td wit some is head hunting. Targeting and angles will likely need to be addressed for this to work better.
