UFC 4 desperately needs a Universe Mode

An online mode like this would be absolutely awesome. Like with in-game social media accounts to talk trash, call people out and post clips. Basically like real UFC structure, scheduled events and everything, except online PvP.

-We’re all given a simple interface to quickly make CAF, where we’re all given the same stat cap and can allot the points as we choose. Then just hop straight into universe mode, and you’re good to go. (Roster could be complicated cause everyone would pick the best fighter and it would be mirror match extravaganza)

-Champ in each weightclass, defend twice a week or vacate.

-There would be some page with ranking and records showing everyone’s stats, playstyle.

-No complicated UT menus and extensive training and press conference stuff. Just a simple, hop on and play, online universe mode.

Kind of like what you’d see in a well run online leage, like ESFL, except built into the game.

Also, think about the business model EA could implement for this. You have some guys online who people would be interested in watching. You could have "PPV's" (nobody should have to pay to watch though), but you could hype up their buyrate (# of people who tune in to watch their PPV's).

You could sell ads against it, put it on the octagon, use the cut scenes between fights (because we should really have those in between fights, or even have a "Move of the Fight" like they do in real life), where EA could monetize this.

Tell me this doesn't have legs or potential????

The more the better, heck it’s like pulling teeth just to get extra venues, like WFA, Ultimate fighter, practice gyms etc...same cage different name....let us customize our own octagons !!!!

There is no way I'm buying the next game if there isn't a Universe Mode.

Most of these things have been said before I think, but there are so many possibilities with this mode:

- Random incidents like injurys and missed weight.

- Being able to scout for young prospects and having them fight on TUF or DWTNCS or WFA.

- Hire staff (Marketing, matchmaking, medical, legal)

- Different presentation for PPV's and Fight Nights.

- Interaction with fighters (Contract/Fight Negotiations, Asking them to move camps) (Going full DW on a fighter who refuses a fight lmao)

- Interim belts

- Divisional and P4P rankings

- Actual interactive press conferences and weigh-ins

- Feel free to add more.
