it would just make it so much easier to organise things. And would do so much for replayability to me.

With that said, I think we should be somewhat conservative in what we expect to get. I think the best comparison would be WWE Smackdown v. Raw 2011. That was the first WWE game with a Universe mode. Here is what it had:

- A calendar
- Rankings
- Sim Engine
- News section
- A card/matches section

The good news is that UFC 3 already has a few of these things. The sim engine is currently in the Tournaments mode and I'm hoping that can be moved over. The card section is in Custom Events. A calendar shouldn't be that hard to create and you should be able to book fights months out. Rankings will require a bit of programming and a new UI but there are rankings in career mode so I'm assuming those assets can also be used. A news section with a fight history database is necessary imo.

Anything else would just be icing on the cake for me.
I don't think it would be the biggest ask in the world to have an injury system and a system in place for new fighters to be generated. It's my understanding career mode has these things.

It wouldnt be a huge ask but I was just basing it on what other games did in the first year of a universe mode.

Question for you: If you could only have one what would you rather have:

50-100 CAF slots to create future fighters and place them in Universe mode and other modes

or

A system where the CPU creates the new random fighters but you are stuck with the same 22 CAF slots for your entire universe.

Given the options the first one but...

If I'm being honest I hate the process of creating fighters. The time it takes to make them look and fight unique while still realistic is a pain to me.

So that one is tough for me but I'd side with more slots.

My ideal system would be like most sports titles in a franchise mode. Fighters get older and deteriorate and you either cut them or they retire, while new fighters are generated and take their spots.

A randomizer and a copy/paste option in CAFs would do wonders.

Personally I could live with either if the get in a universe mode

I know I am asking for waaaay to much but sharing community creations or even rosters like WWE and MLB games would be great.

I guess what we are asking for is a game that plays like a 2015-18 sports title instead of something from the late 90's

I have no real inside knowledge on this but if I was a betting man I'd bet that if there is a next game, the CAF process will be improved alot. The devs recognized the complaints about it since UFC 1.
