No it is annoying to break there block. That strategy works well. BUT SHOULDNT. irl if a dude did that you would get countered hard. You cant quite counter hard enough to make that strategy not worthwhile.

but back to the point, you are correct. YOu have to hide ALL body strikes. I like the straigth lead body hook combo. or jab, lead body hook.

A lot of people get caught off guard with a forward moving body straight that is started outside of punching range. I personally like to follow with a lead hook to the head after. It’s tough to time the uppercut on it and people tend to respond late to the straight leading to both punches finding there mark.

This is my go to. You have zero obligation to “hide” your body strikes. In fact, throwing a head strike first will not only put you out of range most times, but set you up for the uppercut because your opponent has likely caught on.

Leading with the body strike first decreases your chance of getting hit.

Yep. That's pretty much the strategy.

Also utilize alot of body strikes from grapple positions, people mainly block the head on these situations..

Re: Body kicks vs body punches

Straight to the body is always a good one. Can follow up with a lead body hook but you're at risk of the uppercut. Can follow up with a lead hook to the head to mix it up as well.

Against players who use a lot of uppercuts, the 1-2 lead body hook is a good combo although you do have to time it so that the body hook lands.

If you can get the body straight to land, you can also try leading with the lead hook to the head once they start blocking low just to get a little extra damage instead of a jab as well.
