Any chance this makes it into the game at any point during the dev cycle?

I'm guessing no since it appears fighter kits are infinitely more difficult to pull off than we assume.

I think this is highly depended on how Venom gear will be used. Will they be universal and identical gear (a uniform) like Reebook or will they have all have unique gears like they did in the past.

If it’s like Reebook i’d imagine we would see a patch for it sometime ater April. If otherwise its very unlikely that EA would ever do something like that for us considering their track records with other titles. A bummer really because the game is going to be outdated just 4-5 months after launch

Considering the Diaz shorts debacle, it'll probably take a decade to change shorts for the entire roster.

Oh I missed this news. Yeah I wonder if we were getting those images of Masvidal/Adesanya because the Reebok deal was about to expire.


It will be interesting to see how they go about outfits and if this will impact the game launch. I doubt they want to launch with everything Reebok when that **** is about to go away soon (when exactly?).

The Venom deal kicks in April 2021, so it's almost certain we launch with Reebok kits. The question is whether they patch in Venom down the road, but it's so far out it seems unlikely to me.

UFC’s existing outfitting and apparel partnership with Reebok, the global fitness brand, expires in March 2021. Reebok will continue to serve as the official footwear provider of UFC through the end of next calendar year.

UFC athletes will debut the new VENUM-designed UFC Fight Kits inside the Octagon in April 2021.

I think they will use PATCH to update clothing
Just like UFC 3, they have made clothing changes PATCH

I think it’s likely given that the game will have only been out for 4ish months by then and they will still hopefully be patching the game.

Are you saying the game launches near the end of the year? Or are you confusing timelines?

Because I think most would be very disappointed by a Dec launch date.
