I have no idea either why Hardy isnt in the game.
They can still market Cyborg, even after her contract ran out? That's honestly incredible. I guess we can pencil in her Hall of Fame induction lol

LOL. Yep. Technically they can market 99% of former UFC fighters even after they are cut.

Seeing Cro Cop on that list just makes me happier that I decided to pass on the game.

I get that cuts are cuts they happen. But I just can’t see how EA was okay with losing 25% of their last games roster and saying “well add 17 new fighters and then we’ll just throw fighters we already have into multiple weight classes. That’ll make everyone happy. We can then market it that we have 237 unique fighters, even though there is zero difference in a fighters model or attributes from one weight class to another”. At least in the past when fighters had slots in different weight classes their attributes and perks would differ a bit

EA's goal isnt to make "everyone happy". The audience they are courting doesnt know who the **** Calvin Kattar, Rob Font and Niko Price are. Their favorites are already in the game.

That **** matters to you and me and we dont matter much to EA.

Damn bro EA really damaged you completely understandable, I'd be frustrated watching the direction cater to youtubers instead of lifelong martial arts fans as well. I feel it hurts more that martial arts is being disrespected in this way rather than say soccer

And the sad thing is, our demographic is not even that hard to please bro. We are asking for minimal effort on their part. 20 new fighters on top of the ones we already got and at least I would have been content. I’m not asking for a top 20 in every division. But when I can’t even replicate 20% of a real life UFC card that’s a problem

LOL. You know what? They actually didnt.

I was upset a few months ago when I heard about the direction of the game but its their game. They have reasons for targeting that group and hardcore fans dont do a lot to force them to focus on us (we still buy the game).

It is what it is at this point.
