Update Apex Arena with no fans

Devs

Can we get the apex with no fans as an update?

How hard can it be? There are mods to remove fans in PES 20 etc

This is the future of MMA for a while, at least replicate it

Then we can play there and it wouldn't be DWCS themed

I've beat the drum for more arenas/venues harder than just about anyone.

But if we get an empty Apex before Allegiant Stadium or AT&T Stadium or even simply regaining arenas we've lost at this point (Staples and Saitama), I'd be a little sad.

To answer how hard, based on previous posts I'd say it'd be about as hard as building a completely new arena. Removing all the seats probably isn't as easy as we'd think plus all the overlays getting converted to a standard card instead of DWCS.

Il be honest, I don't notice much of a difference between the arenas, if at all. But my suggestion would be very noticeable, and very current, and give commentary to the apex arena

True, but what's next? Calling for mouthmasks with different textures on it, for sale at just 5000G?

People play games to get away from reality. Let's not get COVID into our living rooms.

But imo it'd indeed be a good idea to have one arena without fans (currently we have practice mode for that though). Not because of COVID though...

Re: Update Apex Arena with no fans

My reasoning for harping on about new arenas is ironically the same reason most don't care or prioritize it.

They currently all feel the same.

Clearly EA understands this sentiment also because they introduced Kumite and Backyard this year. IMO they went a little overboard and missed the mark, and I think for hardcores they could split the difference going forward and it would be much appreciated.

I like to book fighters in locations that make sense.

I book my European fighters/fights at The O2 (London). The Brazilians in Rio. I would book my Asian and Oceanic fighters in Saitama when I buy EA 4, but I'm told Saitama is gone.

Even in the United States I book Americans geographically. Cormier gets booked in Houston (close to his hometown in LA). Tons of Cali fighters so I look to book them at Honda Center. Lots of northeast guys so they get booked at Prudential and MSG.

Of course the biggest fights on paper I reserve for Las Vegas and New York.

But I'd love an Abu Dhabi arena for the wave of Dagestani fighters in the game (plus that's going to be a big stop yearly going forward). I'd love an Australian venue for all the Oceanic fighters.

I'd also like a stadium because it looks visually different and makes the card feel like a massive event. The shortlist for me is Marvel Stadium in Australia, Cowboys Stadium in Dallas or Allegian Stadium in Las Vegas.

If they added a standard arena, I wouldn't be as interested unless they get the crowd reactions right for the "hometown" fighters, similarly to how they do it for the Brazilians in Brazil.
