I really like how you have to follow through with a strike and how it pulls back if you don't. This might be my favorite part of striking right now. It really creates a "think about it" feel when you are throwing strikes.

With the advantage that the hard combos give, it really pays to stick to a few fighters, I think they really nailed fighter uniqueness in this game.

Just fighting the ai for alvarez and ferguson shows the difference in their styles, with eddie's ai favoring pressure and swarming combos and ferguson's favoring more unorthodox strikes, imanari rolls, and tendency to clinch when he's back me to the cage.

I will say this it does feel like using it gets you into more trouble then it does actually help because the punch speed when fighting some like a Nate Diaz user is hard. I rather just block and move back and fourth.

I actually love the head movement plus the advantage it gives you when you counter.
