IF he does it’s a 50-45 for Holloway

The gap in their striking is massive

he got outgrappled by chael sonnen, the grapplers now are far better then chael sonnen. Also he fought guys if they were grapplers their striking were horrible compared to now they can compete striking wise.

Rockhold would also wreck him. I mean slow plodding Weidman worked him and that was prime. Plus Silva has been juiced his whole career just like the rest of the Brazilians.

Maaaan I almost got laughed off OS when I said modern Cro Cop would do pretty damn well in the current HW division until he hit the top 5.

(provided he was in full Japanese mode)

But I agree with this completely, as much as I'd like legends to have prime stats, outside of the striking stats the rest have to be a bit lower just to emphasize the evolution of the sport, which has been massive in the last.. 7-10 years, its one of my favourite things about MMA. Watching it evolve.

I remember the days when Butterfly Guard was all the rage, now you barely see it outside of a feet-on-hips getup or triangle setup haha.

I don't get this argument.

If we're playing NBA 2k, and someone picks 1985 Celtics, Larry Bird is going to be a phenom. His stats aren't nerfed to "fit the evolution of basketball"..
