Re: MLS/USL Patch (PC) - in progress

I enjoy the editing process since I'm a fan of the MLS. I like and know many players personally from my stints as a trial seeking pro couple years ago.

Stadiums, rosters, faces - etc - all fun. While I don't think Kit Editing is fun because it is from scratch, I would lean more towards "Tedious" more than anything.

Alas, somebody's gotta do it. Plus, I'm starting to get the hang of it.

9 Kits done so far. haven't touched rosters. If anyone is up for it to get this released in time, pm me. IF not, it's going to be at least another week - maybe longer - all depends on kits.

how are you doing the kits? Doesn't kitserver use a different format? I've only done kits using pngs and the in game editor.

Re: MLS/USL Patch (PC) - in progress

rck - on the first page, I posted what I'm working with. PC version is a lot different than basic PNGs for the console. It's a bit more detailed and from there importing is done through kitserver. The teams that were removed were ones that are uneditable using the in-game editor. Therefore, I have to go 1by1 creating designs (attempting) and creating all 4 kits from scratch.

Luckily, the MLS is in unison with ADIDAS, so the template has gotten a lot easier since yesterday. I'm quite happy with the last 3-4 kits, and will probably go back and edit some more detail after releasing the patch.

Six more MLS teams remain, I can get this done today.

This is fantastic!

matt - I can help with rosters although would need to know how to do them as this is my first year using the PC version. I have kitserver installled so will begin playing around with it tonight. (complete noob with kitserver)

MLS/USL Kits Preview - MLS ONLY

notes: no criticisms, I made these from scratch, I know they are not great - but I don't see anyone else creating them. The stripes are misaligned, the font color is inaccurate (havent' touched that part yet), and of course the designs might be off (goalkeepers are fantasy based, not previewed) deal with it

Also, Portland Timbers unreleased kit - so I had to make a mock up, doesn't look half bad imho.
