Re: eFootball PES 2021 Available Today - Post Your Impressions Here
Hey all! I just got a PS5 so I did my free FIFA upgrade the other day. Let me tell ya, it wasn't much different than the PS4 version and I got bored quick. I didn't expect it would be a huge difference since it's a free upgrade but still. I was at least hoping to not be bored with the game like I had been getting with the PS4 version.
Anyway, PES 21 was on sale for $22 yesterday so I said what the hell and bought it. I had 2020 but maybe played 5 total hours and put it down. I was so sick of being able to get through the midfield and run end to end with one player without even anyone attempting to pressure me. That was even on the high difficulties.
So with that said, I have some questions that I hope anyone can help me with.
1. Is the lack of midfield pressure still there like in 20 and previous versions? I've played 1.5 games so far and it seemed slightly better than last year but still not what I'm happy with per say. I still just think it's too easy to get through the midfield (playing on Top Player). And yes, it's only 1.5 games so I'm primarily wondering if it depends on the tactics of the team. If it is then I'm fine with how it sits.
2. If the lack of midfield pressure is still a thing, is there anything anyone is doing to try to help that problem from the CPU perspective? Ie. adjusting the CPU's tactics. If so, what are you doing? I remember Matt10 had a video from like 2019 or even earlier about this very same thing where he adjusted tactics to help fix the issue. I did those adjustments that year and it did indeed work. It was just tiresome going through every team to do it.
Any answers/suggestions from anyone to provide the best gameplay possible would be much appreciated. I'm planning to install the PES Universe OF but if anyone also has any better alternatives that are free, I'm open to hearing those.
