The first time it busted through the wall it didn't scare me too much since I had seen it videos already but the second time it appeared in that level where you had to knock down the roof it scared the **** out of me. I thought that after I got passed it the first time that it was going to be the last of it.

Same here, Original Doom. I turned a corner after nothing had happened for a while and BAM..right in my face. Scared the crap out of me. I'm sure I yelled for a good 5 seconds.

Rainbow Six Vegas. Online. Playing a regular Retrieval round, then ran into TJs character. He had his face in the game, using the Live Vision Camera. I admit, I was scared to death.

The entire game of Doom 3, particularly the first encounter with the Pinky when you're trapped in that little control room and the thing attempts to bust down the wall. I was petrified.

Mind you, I spoiled that game for myself by playing the whole way through with God mode, and I still was scared to death of going around the next corner for fear of what's next.

Only thing I can think of is the first level of Max Payne.

Silent Hill 2 creeped me out like no other game ever has. Resident Evil had a good "boo" factor, but SH 2 was just so warped filled with a sense of dread.

Ravenholm is pretty freaky in Half-Life 2, and Eternal Darkness also has some pretty intense moments.

Re: What has been your scariest video game moment that you can remember?

I don't remember which Silent Hill it was (I think it was SH2), but I just remember hearing some little girls whispering or some **** when you went into a blood-covered bathroom... Haha, those games all blended together into one blood-covered bathroom it seems like, but nothing is creepier than little kids in those kinds of situations.

And yeah, add me to the list of people that the OG Resident Evil scared the crap out of. If only for the dog bit, that game had some good scares. And just playing it alone in the dark and hearing all the groans and creaks in the house (not knowing if it was some crazy **** coming to scare you or not) just kept you constantly on-edge... and then those dogs jump through that window and you just jump out of your skin. Haha, great level design at atmosphere on that game, especially considering how old it is.

I admit that I also ran like a little bitch when I first ran into a Big Daddy.
