Are they really selling the old one at a discount? I didn't think anyone had any stock...

I might go searching for one then. I think he's like the video chat but he's got a MacBook already.... It's easier to hold an iPad than a laptop.

Thanks for the heads up! A new one would be $500 but it's a gift so I'm not sure which way to go.

The Target I went to during lunch time had a few for $399 as I was on a search for The Show. LOL! If I can save $100, maybe I should just get my wife the 16gb wifi since the new one won't really offer anything earth shattering.

EDIT: Checking even Best Buy, the 16gb wifi is also $399.

the First Ipad is still worth every penny and some at that price.
