Ehhhhh.....A real downgrade to me too. I can see why they changed the uniform though less military looking in some ways and more super heroey but yeah...not a great look.

The suit looks exactly like the one from Marvel vs. Capcom, which I'm guessing is based off his look in the current comics. It looks fine to me.

Did you ever really expect them to pull off an Avengers movie? Back then, I don't think many expected a TMNT movie, let alone one with real life actors.

And they hype train was rolling full steam ahead. Might depend on where you saw the movie - on release night TMNT was electric at the theater I went to in NYC.

Sorry, I just don't put them in the same genre at all.

I don't think I would have been disappointed if an Avengers movie was never considered and I still have reservations. It's somewhat like when you would get an Avengers comic book..... just not enough panels to go around for all the great characters. Explaining why they need to all come together will be interesting in and of itself.

It's about fan service.

To some extent, it is the same way with Sex and the City - some form of entertainment medium that you never expected to see on the big screen.
