When Jean Grey was ripping him apart he smiled, and transported himself into the guy in the hospital that was braindead, he swapped bodies and mind.

Professor X stated to Wolverine, I told you before, your not the only one with powers, and Magneto had his powers back. As in X3 you see him move the chess piece, to let you know it was temporary.

Rogue was edited out of the movie. Apparently she only shot one scene and in the editing process it became "extraneous." Singer did say the scene will probably be available when it's released on DVD/Blu.

I personally don't mind, but I just thought I would relay the message.

In part it was the way the character was written. It was more of the part of the victim and damsel in distress versus what was portrayed in the books/cartoons.
