Your Favorite Christopher Nolan Film?

Wonderful director, in a career that now expands over 20 years he has his share of memorable films. But which one is your favorite?

Re: Your Favorite Christopher Nolan Film?

I would personally rank them:

  1. The Dark Knight
  2. Inception
  3. Batman Begins
  4. Interstellar
  5. Memento
  6. The Dark Knight Rises
  7. Dunkirk
  8. Insomnia
  9. The Prestige
  10. Following
I like all of them, even in Following you can see the promise of a talented director.

What say you?

I had to go with Memento. Fantastic script, great cast, a great film to become obsessed with and trying to unravel its mysteries. I know his larger films still hinge on the personal (and interpersonal), intimate feelings and relationships, but Memento always felt bigger than the whole to me.

I need to re-watch Memento, probably the first Nolan film that I watched.

Memento is awesome. The Batman trilogy is great. But I gotta go Inception. Definitely the movie of his I've watched the most, and am entertained by ever single time.

I'm hot and cold with him.

Absolutely loved Inception, The Prestige, Dunkirk.

Didn't care for the Batman movies and hated Interstellar

Haven't seen Memento, thats on my list to see soon.

Re: Your Favorite Christopher Nolan Film?

Batman Begins- Love batman begins before this i was kind of so so on batman movies and post dark knight trilogy its hard for me to watch any batman movie per dark knight trilogy has i find them to be crap in comparison.

Dunkirk- Have not seen the movie i just don't normally watch war movies.

Following- Never heard of this movie

Inception- I know a lot of people like this movie but i don't like it at all found it boring and overly confusing didn't understand what was going on like 10 minutes into the movie lol.
Insomnia- Interesting movie found it to be ok. Was interesting seeing Robin Williams in a more serious role though. Before i saw this movie for the first time a few years ago i had only see him in more comedy roles.

Interstellar- Love this movie very different and normally i fill like long movies drag but did not fill that way about this one.

Memento- Never seen it

The Dark Knight- Love the movie like i do all 3 but i find this movie to be the most overrated of the trilogy has i think both of the other 2 movies in the trilogy are better.

The Dark Knight Rises- My not only like favorite movie of his but maybe my favorite movie ever. The way i look at this movie is the way a lot of people look at dark knight so yeah this is my vote.

The Prestige- Enjoyed it only seen in once though so i know i have forgotten a lot of it.

Answer again is dark knight rises
