Hope David & Kevin can win an HOH so they can stick around. Ready for the big alliance to start turning on each other.
It won't happen. EVERY SEASON people hope for that.

Season starts like any new season of BB, with hype, hope and promise. Then the big alliance gets together, and picks everyone off one by one. Smewhere along the lines cracks start forming, suballiances form, and people in the big alliance start plotting to get each other out. They talk and talk and talk, but nobody actually goes. 1 or 2 people from "the other side of the house" hang around until the later part of the game, giving fans a small glimmer of hope that maybe they could have the underdog story and win the game and save whatever little of the season is left to be saved, but they do stupid things, get voted out, and someone from the big alliance wins.

That's been Big Brother since BB19, with BB16 being where the big alliance stuff really started.

At least in BB20s case, the big alliance were the popular HGs. 19,21,22 the big alliance has been who everyone hates.

Good points man. I'm not a fan of the big alliances unless you have a small alliance on the side because the big ones usually blow up and people start turning on each other. Was hoping that Christmas would win HOH and put Dani and Nicole up. Don't hate any of them but just want more drama in the house because that's the reason why I watch. It's funny that editing can still make the BB fun and interesting.

I'm a big fan of the older BB seasons and I actually had season 3 and 4 on DVD but I can't find then anymore. Guess BB was still so new during the earlier seasons and not a lot of people came in with a strategy (except to get ot the end and win). I think the more recent seasons are about having "hot" contestants and showmances haha.

I'm watching tonight's show right now (recorded). I'll post about it later today.

Old school seasons were way more personal. The concept of the veto was still new, and people took it personally if someone other than a nominee used the veto. And backdoors were a foreign concept, so much so that on BB5 it was invented and because HGs could pick who plays in the veto, it led to the easiest backdoor ever. They broke BB with the 5 finger plan, and BB had to change it a year or two later.

BB the last several years has been all about people simply trying to use BB to launch their careers. Either helping them as a model get bigger gigs, or boosting social media followings. That's what BB is about nowadays. That and showmances.

And the BB producers have no problem with any of that, which is why the show is sucking.

The sports equivalent of BB since S19 is that in 19, they finished dead last in the league with a bad roster, 20 they made the finals with great team and lost, 21 had bad roster and finished bottom of the league, and 22 had great roster who still missed playoffs.

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars

The latest "production is a joke" moment.

Yes David took the 10k, but why?

Part of him doesn't seem to think taking the money would make a diff in if he or Kevin went (and whoever doesn't go is clearly going to be on the block next week as a pawn/collateral damage).

But the biggest reason...he's donating the money to charity to support BLM.

But yes BB, let's ignore that and make it seem like he selfishly took money, doesn't know what he's doing, and have all the HGs rip on him. In another season where HGs have been ripped for questionable racially motivated actions, and other comments as well, let's just act like none of it happened and ignore a HG donating money they won to a charitable cause. Meanwhile they have no problem making it seem like a good thing that other HGs want to get greedy and just take the money because the rest of their alliance can pick up the slack.

I've seen every BB season since BB5. This one won't be my last, but BB23 will be on a very short leash for me.

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars

Production just doesn't care lol. They spoiled the triple eviction after trying "so hard" to keep it a secret. Whoever was in charge of the screen behind Julie is getting fired.

Nicole survives the block twice! If the F4 is Nicole,Cody,Memphis,Christmas, I'm FF the rest of this season.

They are keeping her knowing she isn't winning again.

I seriously think there is an agreement to share money. They aren't taking any real shots even when given the opportunity with the triple eviction.

Given that they have a pregame alliance, I'm convinced they do have an agreement outside the game.

You cant be playing a game for 500k and have this many "ride or dies" and be this upset at seeing a friend go.

And people are willing to sacrifice their own game for the sake of having their friends still in it. Nothing fishy here at all...

And Dani is upset at Tyler and Christmas for getting her out. Why isn't she more upset at Cody or Memphis for voting her out? O yeah, because those 2 have a pregame alliance and Cody has one with Nicole.

Enzo and Christmas will be next on the block with Tyler as a possible 3rd option. Again, we know why, because the rest of the HGs are in a pregame alliance.

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars

Small sample size I know, but interesting perspective I had when talking (not online) with some others about BB.

Its easier to get mad at things when you're like me and read up on all of what's really going on, but when speaking to people who only know whats going on based on seeing only tv show and never following any sort of internet talk, they actually share similar feelings.

How Kaysar,Kevin,Bayleigh,David,DaVonne were the ones targetted from the start, by the likes of Nicole,Memphis,Cody especially.

The job titles didnt go unnoticed by casuals either. Restauranteur, Social Media Influencer, they feel like those types of jobs perfectly describe those respective HGs and the way they've been acting. Nicole acting so entitled and getting everything handed to her, Memphis playing "cold" and treating it like some cut throat boss.

Even as longtime fans, this season has been so disappointing, possibly the worst for them (although I'll admit, it's still better than 9,15,19,21 for me, but doesn't say much).

Just an interesting take hearing what more casual type of fans are thinking of this season and how similar the thoughts are compared to the bigger fans.

I'm hoping CBS will listen, but you never know anymore. The way Julie has been acting as a host this year and even past year or two in general, she seems to have a "don't care" attitude, in a good way. Like the feeling that you could be gone at any moment, so enjoy it all and have as much fun as you can before that day comes.

Although I'd rather the opposite and do what BBCAN did, make the host an executive producer. You can feel that the way Julie wants to host vs what the show actually wants are 2 diff things, but what Julie wants feels way more similar to what fans want (as is the case on BBCAN, Arisa is a big fan like the viewers watching)
