Now all you guys out there need to stop talking about boycott's, and writing letters to EA and the NFL, I even saw someone post that they would write congress....Some of you guy's are really scaring me to as point where I think your crazy...There are more things in this world that are of more importance to boycott then a damn video game company, Like the War and so on....So please come on guy's just give it up, I know some of you a upset and it sux, but please just stop all the crazy talk. This was a business deal and you guy's can't do nothing at all about it. The NFL/EA don't care what you write or email them, trust me they just don't care, this was a $300 milllion dollar deal, and they were making it no matter what us gamers thought. They seen the dollar signs and ran with it. I'm a Sega/VC fan too and I think it sux, I'm not going crazy about it like some of you are, Guess what EA/Madden has the exclusive rights to the NFL license for the next 5 years, and guess what I will be playing Madden for the next five years, just beacause I'm a NFL video game junkie. So if there is only one NFL game being Made I'm playing it no questions asked. So guess give up the crazy talk, cause you ain't doing squat about this, Like I say "It is what it is" period.

I was thinking the same thing. The deal does suck, but all these alleged "hardcore" gamers are not going to sit out for 5 years without a up to date game. Especially after you watch a NFL game and then get hyped up to play. As for a CFL game, the only way it will sell here is by word of mouth and you will need a lot of mouths to even make a profit on that. Someone else said it in another thread, while emotions are fresh now, who is to say what you would REALLY do come next August. The way some of you guys were talking, It wouldn't be long before someone threatened to tie a bomb to themselves and walk into Tiburon's offices..
