Seriously, forget Madden. I refuse to go back to that p.o.s.

I was prepared to keep up in the offseason on the rosters, but I think we should work together to create official 2006 rosters and sliders. Not 100 different slider settings...sort of a new default setting.

Yeah, it'll be the same game as 2k5....it'll be like being a Madden fan.

What does everyone think? I think we need organization for this to work but I will no longer support EA sports titles.

There are a TON of fellas here willing to do this. But once Sega releases their generic football title next year, most of us are most likely going to support them anyway.

So I believe more people are going to be interested in naming generic rosters on the new game than keeping this year's UTD.

Actually, if Madden tanks next year(and that's a big "IF" considering I thought 2005 was aiight) and I start to get that NFL itch, I would love to update some rosters to keep on playing this game. NFL2K5 is the FIRST game where after nearly 6 months of playing it to death, I'm still seeing things new.

Yeah, I'll take great gameplay over real names/teams anyday. Besides, check out the College hoops 2k5 boards and you'll see a willing legion of fans that are more than happy to correct all the names in a heartbeat. And better yet, VC has obliged us in the college hoops game by having all of the real players names in the announcers voice database, so just plug them in and they'll say, jj redick, wayne simien, rashad mccants, etc. Hopefully they'll do the same with this and just put the names in of every NFL player.
