That's one reason why I never even planned on trading mine in. The single greatest game I personally have ever played. (I'm not really a HALO lover, though it is a really awesome game as well.) Until the next gen, I'll be with this one for a while.

Re: I now own NFL 2k5 again!!

same here.....had my 2k5 since 7/20/04 and will continue to play it until the next 2k game on ps2 or X360.

Thought about getting NCAA.....thought some more.....didn't

Thought about 0.34 seconds about getting Madden and then put 2k5 back in. Ahhhhhh.....

FPF is a whole new game for me this year.

To me how could the "passing cones" be considered "being a real QB" play FPF thats real! You can only see out your helmet. One reciever at a time.

Believe it or not, I started preparing for Madden's new passing system this year by playing a lot of FPF. There's an option where you can cycle through recievers just like cycling the vision cone. I'm still going to suck when I get it, but it makes me a little more confident at least.

I never sold 2k5; I still play it when I'm not playing MVP. For some reason I'm not seeing as many picks as I used to - and this is with default rosters and sliders. And that was my only real complaint with the game - the gameplay against the CPU is simply awesome.

P.S. I never understood why FPF got such a bad rap....

Talk about puttin' in some serious hours...but alls well now as User and XBOX are report to be in good condition and improving.
