does 2k5 HD look much better?

givin up on the 360 and just gonna stick with xbox and 2k5. i was just wondering if the xbox HD makes games look any better. is it worth the money etc. etc. thanks

I just want to know if:

- Your view of wide receivers is better
- Jaggies are less visible
- Framerate appears much smoother (with all interlaced lines passing during one frame and what not)

Xbox 720 won't be coming out for a few years -- might want to reconsider...

Seriously, if I was considering spending $$$ for an HD TV for my gaming, I'd take my Xbox and copy of NFL 2K5 down to my local electronics store, and ask them to hook it up so I could see how it looks. If they're not willing to do that, they don't get my business...

i think people are misunderstanding the question. i allready have an xbox and an hdtv. i am just wondering if i should buy the xbox hd cables. just wondering how much better the game will look is all.

480p looks much better then 480i to my eyes but your mileage may vary. I am really hoping that NFL 2k5 makes it to the BC list for the 360 because I think it would really good upscaled to 720p.

YES. I payed 2k5 on my buddies HD and it looked amazing. You can see the WRs more also. I reccomend it.

For me it was a double-edged sword. When I finally got my HDTV, 2K5 running in 480p looked extremely sharp and colorful, however, I see a TON more jaggies than I did in my non-hd display. It has serious aliasing issues.

This is the case with many X-Box games running in 480p. They're not really optimized for it, so I get way more jaggies than I used to. I REALLY hope it ends up being backward compatible with 360, because it would look amazing in 720p with full screen anti-aliasing!!!
