Updating Historial Teams

Without using Action Replay or anybody's roster update, can you edit all the historical teams on your own without any problems? Meaning it won't overwrite some teams that you finished because you went over a team limit?

Historical teams are there own files so there should be no chance of overwriting unless you save as the same name. You can only have 2 loaded at a time however.
