Does the cpu use speed burst?

In the NHL game(s), it's easy to see players speed burst when you do to counteract, but have you ever seen speed burst in this game by a RB or WR?? I can't say I have or maybe it's that I haven't watched for it.

if u switch to a CPU player and try to charge, you won't be able to do it because the CPU is hitting that speed burst button.

I'm sorry but I'm not following you. If you switch to a cpu player who is already in motion, you're saying you can't use speed burst? Well, #1 that's not true because when you try to pursue someone who's gotten away and switch to the closest guy, the speed burst light is active and he does get faster.

#2, I'm talking about the cpu team/AI....not cpu controlled players on the team you are using.

Yeah, I saw it all the time. The thing to watch for is that there's a very slight animation difference when running normally and speed bursting, and it's the same for the CPU too. The difference is that you can see the runner's head tilt upward to where it is parallel with the ground and he's looking straight ahead. That's the speed burst run. The normal run has the player's head tilted down slightly.

If you want to see the difference for yourself, just go into practice mode and speed burst around the field like you normally would (can be charged or not, it doesn't matter.) and watch the close-up replay of it.Then it will be easier to see when the CPU does it (often).
