Just popped this in for the first time since the year i bought it....

So ya, Im the type of guy that only likes authentic stuff. Sure, I like edits that people make for players, but I dont like when its just people like us creating the players, and not an insider as video games tend to have. Anyways, I had forgotten how good this game is. Problem is that, again, i need things to be authentic, and im using the community rosters, but all the contracts are off--well, not 'all' but most--is there a way to fix them?

Also, where can I get the 2k7 schedule and instructions on how to use it?

As for the game itself, I remember the 1st round roster bug, is it still there (where only certain positions get drafted)?

Sure, DL Finn's editor and get yourself an Action Replay. Finn just recently upgraded the editor involving changing team caps apparently.

ya he did, but u cant edit individual contracts... i loved 2k5 also b/c u could sign a player to any type of contract really.. incredible


are trades still ******** in the game or has there been a fix?

I turned off the trades in pre-season, then I turned it on when the season started.

ah, didnt know u could do that... and i assume its in the preseason that most of the stupid trades get made?

In addition, if stupid trades do happen... just save the file, load it in the editor and take control of those teams. Go back in-game and reverse the trade and save file. Go back into the editor and put control of those teams back to CPU.

Not the cleanest solution but a work around none the less.

its so great how u came up w/ the editor to keep this game alive

we shud write to 2k sports and tell them how we're all addicted to the game and how madden sucks and that they shud make a football game ASAP!!!
