I'm jumping aboard

After playing madden 2007 i have decided i am ready to switch back to 2k5.

I am writing to ask what it is i need to to play this game to the best possible realism.

I was hoping someone would be kind enough to answer these questions?

What system do most updates come out for?

What rosters are the best?

What is the Finn Editor, where can i find it and what all does it allow you to edit?

What are some other good sites to find updates to the 2k series?

Lastly what is this gerenic sports title i have been reading about? is it all speculation or is it confirmed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was in a similar situation you describe and I went out and bought an xbox and NFL2k5.

1. The Xbox version seems to be well supported with rosters and the NFL2k5 enhancement pack. Do a google search fopr it and you'll find it. Actually, it's linked below.

2. The ones at this site, http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeekp5y/index.html I have found to be the best rosters, but the community rosters here seem to be popular as well.

3. The Finn editor allows you to edit game rosters, player attributes and such. It's a nice tool, though it doesn't allow one to see a player's overall rating when editing attributes, something that I find necessary when editing players on a large scale. Maybe it's in there and I'm just missing it, I don't know. As far as I know, Finns editor is only for xbox, not sure if there's one for the PS2.

5. I don't know much about this supposed generic title, but it seems to be just a rumor at this time and not much else.

There is no choice BUT the XBOX, with PS2 online play ending on 9/15. Even without online play, the XBOX version is technically superior AND way better supported. Go get a used XBOX and this baby and have a blast.

After seeing the Enhancement Pak, I also made the switch. I bought the game off EBGames.com for $1.99, You can't go wrong with that price. Now I just have to wait for 5 days until it comes.

Is the Enhancement pack worth it..I mean what does it actually do?....
