I have it on normal now, does anyone use anything different? Just exactly what does it effect?

I play on fast. It affects how fast all the players move. Even on fast it feels slow at times.

i play on slow, seems to give realy smooth framerate and animations, more time to watch plays unfold, make reads, etc. plus im getting old my reflexes aint what they were..LOL

I'm on normal, but I recently did a roster set that accelerated all players speed equally from an earlier set to try to simulate more realistic NFL type speed. Snow and rain really kill some framerate in this game unfortunately.

It's weird because alot of people use(d) slow speed, and to me, normal was too slow. To get a true sense of NFL speed, it has to be at least on normal but fast is perfect.

slow just feels right to me, but the games still moves along pretty fast IMO. and daflyboys is right weather killed the game, both graficaly and framerate, i usualy kept restarting the week of my franchise untill i got a clear day to play.

See, way back when 2k5 first came out, I did a test in Practice mode with Randy Moss. I ran a pseudo 40 yard dash on all the game speeds. On slow, he ran in the 6's, on normal in the 5's and on fast in the 4's.

From that day forward it was fast game speed for me...

yeah i agree normal to fast is probably where the game should be, bu im just saying i enjoy it more on slow, and is doesnt feel slooooooow when set to slow. just curious though, were you tapping with moss during the test?
