Quarterback Spy

I had the PS2 version of 2K5 since the beginning, and yesterday was the first time I've actually delved into the manual. From what I read, there is such thing as a QB spy. The manual implied that I have to take control of a LB, and then press and hold L2 (for linebacker related commands) and then R1. But when I look at the play assignment, my LB still maintain his original assignment instead of being a spy. After the snap, the LB was not spying at all. Does anyone know how to correctly assign a spy on the QB?

Re: Quarterback Spy

The spy is broken, you have to actually select a play that has a spy in it.

Re: Quarterback Spy

Very cool. Thanks. I will try that tonight. I'm tired of being the LB who have to manually spy, since running with the QB in this game is pretty easy.
