That system doesn't seem to be helping me all that much.

I seem to get a whole bunch of crap and I've tried it out about 4 or 5 times. Maybe I'm just not lucky.

Of course all I really did was simulate a season and try the thing out a few times just to see how it worked. Didn't help me much.

I've only tried the system twice.

On the second occasion I drafted a safety, who was rated quite high at the mid-way point of the season, but began to plummet in the rankings soon after. I picked him up in the 6th round and he was rated a 67, he then shot up to the high 70s after pre-season.

When I compared his stats I found it was his consistency stat that helped improve his overall rating. Beforehand he had a consistency of 38 but after pre-season it went up by 20. Sadly I didn't have time to sim another season but from experience I bet his consistency rating would have gone up again and maybe he could have crept to an 81 or 82 overall rating.

I dunno, maybe I've been lucky. Try simming again and see if any of your picks improve after the pre-season period.

By the way I'm using NFL 2K4, so I'm not sure if 2K5 does things differently.
