I am planning on adding the abilty to directly import NFL history generated stuff into the editor rather then having to use the UI scripting stuff included with the History program. It has been on my list for quite some time and I hope to check it off some time in the near future.

1. Run the season generator to generate any year
2. Open the file (it will show all the players, etc.) in the "nfl 2k5 controller" part of History and open the file you just generated.
3. Start up Finns editor,
4. Open an existing roster in it
5. Be sure your roster is on San Fran's team
6. Click "go" in the controller (at bottom) and let it run.

If you have the editor on top, you'll see it run through the players and change them one by one and you'll marvel at how fast it is compared to how slow you are at doing it by hand

7. Save and you're ready to go. Don't do any computing while it's running or it could mess up or stop.

This is a huge step forward for those of us into the historic teams and past seasons. I can't wait to see what Finn does with it in his editor.

However, once the import/creation of the teams are done, there is still a ton of editing left to do - skin tone, equipment, ratings, etc. It does cut down on a huge part of the editing process - getting the names in the editor...just be aware there is some editing yet left to do...as Dolphin can attest to...

Is there a way to get the CPU teams to play in their correct throwbacks? For instance, I was doing a 1986 season (I think that was it) with IIRC Dreaded Steeler's 1986 franchise file.

The fun/aura of it was sort of missing when everyone was wearing their current unis that I played against.

I know Finn has found a way to edit/hack the teams' uniform attributes...I wonder if this may be a way to handle the CPU throwback uniform issue.
