what does the 2k5 patch fix from 3 years ago?

i've never hooked up my xbox live until now, just wonderin, what does this patch fix for this game?

I have discovered from my previous post about a glitch that it fixes a problem with clipping penalties where your player that has the ball during the clip is given negative yards proportionate to how far he ran.

several "penalty yardage" issues were fixed by the patch

IIRC:
after patching, any face-masking penalty yardage no longer counts towards a runner or kick returner's "play yardage" as it does w/o the patch

other things like that

In another thread (forget which one) this topic was brought up and someone said that this patch from a few years ago did'nt carry over to the 360 BC transition. Meaning that it's still present when playing the game on the 360.

Can anybody confirm this either way??

Is there any way to apply this patch without Xbox Live? I have an AR Max, if that is a possibility.

I would also like the patch, I don't have xbox live either. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to google it, but can't find what I'm looking for.

you cant do apply the patch w/o Xbox Live unless (1) your system is modded & (2) you know what the correct file is to overwrite, & (3) where to FTP said file, & (4) you are lucky enough to find someone w/ a modded system who already patched their game, & (5) said person can extract the file & send it to you

So the game is not patched on the 360 after we download the BC stuff and put the game in? I never really heard that in your answer to the other question.
