Ok. So that file is the same download that get when you start up 2k5 in the 360.

The problem I'm having is the stats for running backs is still jacked up. Can it be fixed? This is ruining the game for me.

No, it is not the same file. The file you get when you first put it in the 360 is the Backwards Compatibility update that allows the emulation software to play the game on the 360. The file I posted was the downloadable patch put out for a NFL 2k5 the fall the game was released.

I thought it was the same file because my when I downloaded the file you posted and unzipped and began to drag it to x port I already saw this same exact file in the folder I was taking it to. So I figure it was in the update for the 360.Ill have to look at this tommorow.

I don't have a modded xbox.I don't have internet at my place either.Could I just plug up a phone cord to the wall and hook it to the xbox then go to the xbox live thing on the dashboard?Or no? =/ cuz like...I was enjoying 2k5 till this started happening to me.Its hard enough already to run on legend mode for me,and then this crap happens

well there's no phone jack on the xbox, so you cant connect that way anyhow, but yes you do need internet to get on XBL regardless

alright I'm gonna take my xbox to my GF's house who has the DSL internet and the cable to hook to the xbox.

Do I need xbox live? I'v never used online gaming before.

I got my xbox used from gamestop so maybe there's hope it was used for LIVE once.....
