increasing subsitutions

What should I do if I want to increase subsitution patterns for teams with dual backs.

i.e. MJD and Fred Taylor

or

Deuce and Reggie Bush

if I'm only using 5 minute quarters

I go into the playbooks and make the subs, back out with the B button without "saving" and then save my roster. It saves anys subs you make to formations. It has worked wonders with the 2 back system or FB heavy system of some teams.
