Xplorer360 and Vista?

Any way to get Xplorer360 to work with Vista or am I assed out?

Needs to be Beta 6 and you have to run as administrator.

Re: Xplorer360 and Vista?

Thanks Finn. I'm now getting the drive open and able to navigate to where I need to move the files to, but it's not letting me.

Any thoughts? I can do this with no problems on my XP desktop, but that thing's getting old and just a pain in the butt to bring up and dl the files and move to the 360 HD. Would love to get this working on my vista laptop.

Re: Xplorer360 and Vista?

I downloaded xplorer 360 beta 6 and when I try and run it as an administrator it says this:

This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I've tried re-installing and its doing the same thing. Can comeone please help.

Are you using the original 20GB hdd or do you have the 120GB hdd? I don't remember exactly what problem arose for me, but once I got my 120GB hdd Xplorer360 Beta 6 no longer worked correctly for me. I found another copy of Xplorer360 Beta 6 somewhere online in which the guy done something to it to make it work correctly with the 120GB hdd. Not sure if that is why you're having problems, but it very well may be the case, you may need that tweaked version of Xplorer360.

Same thing goes for you if you're using the 120GB hdd. You may also need the tweaked version.

Sorry if that doesn't help either of you, hopefully it will. If not then maybe someone else can be of help.
