Sorry if this has already been discussed but...

Ive noticed there is preset progression in franchise mode. Ive discovered this by simulating through a few seasons and players have the same ratings increased or decreased regardless of performance.

But the thing I am wondering about is weekly preparation- when you do it does it permanently increase your players ratings, or just for the next game or current season only?

just for that week. Theres not point in doing it. the CPU doesn't do it. A huge boost like that, you will crush every CPU team.
