Re: xbox question...

I have a CRT TV, and while I haven't tried that with my Xbox, I did get component cables for my PS2 and it made a big difference.

Re: xbox question...

TVs' aren't progressive scan, per se-but most any set can display 480p content natively.
Virtually all Xbox games, including 2K5, are in 480p, which you will need component cables to take advantage of.
Component cable sets for Xbox can still be still found at Gamestop, but are rapidly becoming scarce.Even the Monster sets can be had for 7 or 8 bucks.

True, but there is a huge list of games that play in 720 and even a few in 1080i. Someone posted the link a week or two ago to the list of what plays in what format.

As for the question, get an Action Replay and you should be set. You can still do the custom soundtracks with the new rosters. You just load your Stadium Music like you would have with any regular roster.
Puja directed me to the Xbox Music Mixer which I used to bring my MP3s in to my xbox. It's a little slow, but it works really well. My '85 roster will have custom music to go with it. So I hope you're hungry... like the wolf.

His TV isn't HD,so 720p will be no improvement for him and will be stretched on his set.
Here is the link to output format for all Xbox games;http://www.hdtvarcade.com/hdtvforum/...tom&page=xboxa

There are about 35 HD(720/1080) games for Xbox.
