Something just keeps bringing me back to this game. I played a game of Madden last night in my franchise and it just felt bland. Then I popped in 2K5 with updated rosters and played a franchise game and it just felt much more lively and interactive. I love when a DB get's a pick and they show him on the sideline doing the 360. These little things just get me hyped up when I am playing the game. Not to mention custom tracks on the 360 courtesy of Finn. It just seems like Madden 09 has no soul and just like on the back of the 2K5 box it owns mine.

Cot da mn man, you hit it right on the nail! Madden has no soul!!!!!! It doesn't feel like a football experience. It's just not about multiplayer and online, it's about having a genuine experience that never gets old no matter how many times you play it (i.e. Tecmo Super Bowl, Run N Gun 2, NFL 2K1, and ESPN NFL 2K5)
