How to block a field goal/punt?

Again, I just wanted some help getting the two milestones. I really don't care to do this in a game just for the hell of it but if someone else does, so what? I mean, you're cheesing the CPU lol.

I've blocked an extra point before. It doesn't give you the achievement for that though. I've never blocked a punt. Got close once or twice.

^yes, this is a little known glitch in the game

when you block an extra point, there is a screwup in the programming where it isnt credited to you as a block. actually, if you go into the stats & look, the CPU's kicker will have been credited with a successful PAT... even though it doesnt show up on the scoreboard of course

i prob block about 10 PATs a year in franchise & have yet to see one recorded as a block OR even a miss. small glitch in the grand sceme of things at least

not recording a PAT block is no different than recording an interception on a two point conversion - i dont think they record that either. I think PAT doesn't count for a stat, but i could be wrong.... has anyone ever intercepted a two point conversion and see the interception recorded in the stat sheet?

Can't you just turn off the 'Offsides' penalty and put some guy in front of the kicker before the snap?

youll still get encroachment-- offsides only stops the neutral zone infraction that prevents you from lining up "on the ball"

try it; there is an invisible line about 1-2 yards past the LOS & if you cross it, the whistle will blow for encroachment. prevents that "unabated to the quarterback" hit you'd see otherwise
