Bill Parcells

Why wasn't Bill Parcells not in NFL 2K5 but in NFL 2K4 and Bill Bellichek is? For some reason Bellichek is not in Madden at all. Can someone answer this? It said something about not being apart of the Coach Association but... Bellichek is in 2K4 and 2K5. Parcells has a contract with ESPN and was in 2k4 but not 2k5... doesnt make sense

Re: Bill Parcells

He wasnt part of the Coach's Association at the time and thus VC wasnt allowed to put him in 2K5. Sort of like how Michael Jordan was never in any basketball game when he returned in 1995 because he wasnt in the players association.

I dont mind it though whatsoever. What I really wish is that Finn will someday be able to use the HC name PBP for other team's. That way, the Dallas Coach which is referred to as "the Head Coach" when challenging a play and whatnot can be used for team's that dont have a HC who's in 2K5. Like Nolan, Phillps, etc.

Re: Bill Parcells

they do that for a couple other teams-- Buffalo, for instance they dont use Mularkey's name during the coach's challenge for some reason (even though they do say "Coach Mularkey" during the few times his name comes up in the pre-game discussion)

When the game was made he was still technically under his ESPN contract (remember, he was an analyst) and was allowed because of that licensing. He was taken out in 2K5 because he was no longer affiliated in any way with ESPN and was not apart of the NFL coaches association.
