Noob question (2K5 on the Xbox360)

OK, so after dusting off my Xbox (and finding my copy of NFL 2K5),
I was thrilled to find out that it's now playable on the 360. (I haven't touched my 360 for months either).

My question is, assuming I have to use one of the editors out there, can I change the first season I play on my 360 to the current season? Meaning, every time you start a franchise mode from scratch, I think the first year of it is 2004. Can I start one from scratch and use the current year (or any year I choose, for that matter)?
