A Quick PS3 question

I was just wondering: I know on the PS2, you needed to PS2 HDD in order for the halftime/weekly videos to play (as opposed to still screenshots). Is there any way to get the videos to work on the PS3? So far, I haven't had any success, but I want to make sure no one else found a way to pull this off...I have the backward compatable 80GB version, if that helps any.

No soup for you. Look on the bright side, you can get the updated and classic rosters and have NFL 2k9, 2k1979, etc.
