In most of the games that I have played, I have seen at least one WR go over 100 yards, and sometimes multiple receivers will go over the century mark. I'm usually okay with this, but I never took into account the the CPU doesn't really use the short game that often.

Insteresting.....
One tweak I forgot to mention was that only WR's over a certain catch level (around 90) and run route got the bump up, not everyone (and guys with at least 3-4 yrs. experience). Therefore, multiple 100yd game receivers prob. won't happen as much.

Actually, I found out a way to help this without really knowing about it at first. When making 1984/5, I bumped up Walter Payton's (and maybe James Jones's) catch to a pretty high level (they were the top or among the top receivers on their teams) and when playing the computer and when simming, they were getting a lot more throws their way.

Agreed. Updating Catch and Run Route ratings for backs helps alot....especially Run Route.

Yeah, route running was upped as well. Forgot that one. Oh, Roger Craig was another one who saw the ball a lot with the increased ratings.

Yup.... see image above. Run route for WR's already at or above 90ish and 3-4 years experience get the bump in my tweaks.
