my custom music plays at a fast speed? What Iam I doing wrong here?

I had this problem also. I think the program I was using to convert mp3s to WMAs was the problem. The songs would play fine on my computer, but some tracks would either play too fast or too slow on the 360. I tried a trial version of a convert MP3 V3.02 and had no problems with the songs playing at normal speed.
