Re: Game Plan Sliders
bringing this back from the dead-
I was playing a few games and found the game plan sliders work really well in the computers play calling, if left on human-owned. I put the Pats sliders almost all the way to pass (vs. run) and short (vs. long). Brady ended up throwing about 40 times and Maroney ran about 8. He also threw the short routesa a LOT more than the longer routes. It reminded me of what he has been doing lately. He will still throw long- he hit Moss on a nice long pass.
The second game was Browns (me) vs. Dolphins (cpu). Although human owned, I set the run/pass slider more than 3/4 to run and short/long 3/4 to short. The result was 43 rushes (4 backs carried, but Ronnie Brown had 31 carries) and just 24 passes. Ronnie Brown was actually the leading reciever with 6 catches. There were more passes to the TE, backs in the flat and the short routes. Pennington did hit Bess on a 25-30 yard strike for a TD.
If you're playing all human-owned in your franchise, this is an easy way to tailor the opponents gameplan to mirror what they do in real life.
