Couple of questions about the Xbox

First, can I use the Microsoft XBox Link Cable to transfer the NFL 2K5 rosters or do I need an AR.

Second, can I play in progressive scan with the regular A/V cables?

Thanks

Bump. One more. If I hook my Xbox up to my HDTV with regular composite cables, with it look like crap?

Re: Couple of questions about the Xbox

I currently have my xbox hooked up with s-video and I love it. Its a old school 32 tube TV. I have a 50 LCD sony bravia, and I can use component cables from my xbox to it, and it looks even better. But personally, i think it looks fantastic either way, and actually like the 4:3 screen better. To me 16:9 looks a little stretched. Almost like the players dont keep there original aspect ratio. Ive tried this many times over the years, and its easy to see if you look for it.

Thanks

Check out the sticky at the top of the page. Very good tutorial on how to do this. And yes, you can use the MS cable, that's what I am using along with Xplorer360. You don't have to use Xplorer360, you can use some of the other programs, I just prefer using that one myself. Just read the tutorial and that should answer any questions you have.

Thanks, but I don't have a 360, I have an original Xbox. And thanks wheelman990, I am gonna buy some component cables.

Re: Couple of questions about the Xbox

The only way I've ever seen it done with an Xbox was to use an Action Replay.

My bad, sorry about that. When you mentioned the MS cable I thought you were talking about the transfer cable that comes with the 120GB hdd.
