I used to think, "Why would I want a cell phone? I don't like talking on the phone as it is, I sure don't want it following me around." But I eventually got one and got rid of my home phone. Then, a couple years ago, I got out of my Jeep (which had some sort of demon possessing it) and locked the doors while it was running in the middle of nowhere.

That is when I decided cell phones were a good thing.

That reminds me of when I locked myself out of my Jeep last year at a gas station.It was a day after I got it.I didn't realize it was set to auto-lock when I shut the door.Of course I had my keys laying on the front seat so I had to call my wife from her job to bring the other set.

Auto-lock feature is stupid when basically you can press a button to lock/unlock a vehicle anyway.

Of course, if you guys never locked yourselves out of your car, you wouldnt have needed a cell phone at that time.
