I've played a lot less of APF2k8 then NFL2k5, but I'd give APF2k8 the edge, definitely. It seems to have addressed the gameplay gripes I had with NFL2k5 while keeping the core of the game pretty much the same. The one thing I hate is the kicking... I just can't get a hang of it. One kick I'm perfect on everything, the next I'm completely off on everything.

Both games are great, but the lack of roster options in All Pro have 2K5 my game of choice.

If I played online alot I would probably think 2k8 is better than I do.It has good gameplay and great animations but everything else including anything that has to do with offline is bad or nonexistent.I could list my gripes but I'd just be going down that same road once again.

I actually prefer nfl 2k10. 2k5 with Fiins editors. Most fun and feature full football game ever by a wide margain! -that moving on enough for you??
