Agree completely. While I'd pay $60 (or even $100) for an updated 2k football game, there would be very few buyers at that price level. The only way to sell a reasonable amount of units would be to undercut Madden's price. I believe the majority would pick Madden just by name recognition, plus the NFL license. That's alot to overcome for a public who doesn't care about the nuances that 2k5 did great.

Yes I hear ya but here's the thing the NFL license will always fall to EA no matter what! boy did we get screwed on this one.....

My price for the $100 game was to make sure that 2k would make a decent profit....
